These slides were part of a pitch deck which was used to raise Lola’s $37M Series C round, and highlight Lola’s strengths, a highly-experienced executive team and the social proof of a highly-rated product.

Please note: this pitch deck is allegedly a deck that was designed to be used for the company’s Series C fundraising in 2011-2012, but there has been debate about the true authorship of the slides in this deck. There have also been claims that this pitch deck was created by students a UC Berkeley as part of a school project. That has not been verified, and Block (which is notoriously private about its corporate materials) isn’t saying.
In any case, though, whatever this authorship, this pitch deck is still an excellent example of a deck which has to present and explain a complicated business, one that integrates both software and hardware as well as Fintech.
